Mode of Action

ROACHBAIT acts primarily as an ingestion poison. Cockroaches are attracted to and consume the gel bait, resulting in effective control of the targeted cockroach population.

Recommended Application

Apply small gel spots in areas where cockroach activity, movement or harbourage is observed, particularly:

• Cracks and crevices
• Cupboards and cabinets
• Kitchen areas
• Behind refrigerators and other appliances
• Under sinks
• Around plumbing and utility areas
• Other hidden cockroach harbourage areas

For German Cockroaches, a gel spot of approximately 3–4 mm diameter is recommended.

For American Cockroaches, a larger spot of approximately 6 mm diameter may be used.

The number of gel spots should be adjusted according to the level of infestation and the size of the treatment area.

Recommended Dose

0.3–0.5 g per sq. metre
Approximately 3–4 gel spots per sq. metre under the manufacturer’s recommendation.

Maintain approximately 1.5–2 feet distance between gel spots, depending on infestation level and site conditions.

Inspect treated areas periodically and clean/reapply bait as required. The manufacturer’s product information recommends cleaning and reapplying gel spots after approximately 20 days where necessary.
